Build a project page your team can use
Create a project, add the decisions people need, and check what a connected AI can read.
Use this walkthrough for one active project, such as a rollout with a decision, an owner, and an open blocker. You will give teammates a readable page and give connected AI a specific place to check before it acts.
1. Create the project
Switch to the right workspace. Open Context → All knowledge → Projects, choose + New, enter the project name, and select Add. Open the new row to reach its project page. If Jackdaw already found the project in a connected source, open that existing page instead of creating a duplicate.
2. Write the current brief
In the page's editable notes, write a short brief in your own words. Start with:
- Goal: what success looks like.
- Current decision: the choice the team has made.
- Condition or blocker: what must happen before the next step.
- Owner and next check: who will decide, and when the team will revisit it.
For example: “Northwind rollout: Priya owns the launch. The remaining accounts wait until security review is complete. Recheck at Friday's project meeting.” Save the page and use [[ to link a person, organization, or related subject. Jackdaw does not generate the narrative. A connected AI with write access can edit an existing document page when you ask it to; those edits are cited and can be undone.
3. Attach the evidence
If a connected document contains the decision, open it from Connections → Source documents and compare the preserved wording with your brief. Review any extracted claim under Knowledge from this version before treating it as a trusted Wiki fact. The source walkthrough shows this step in detail.
4. Check the reader's view
Ask the Jackdaw assistant: “What is the current state of the Northwind rollout, what is blocked, and what is the source?” For an external AI connected over MCP, ask it to call get_context with that question, then use get_context with pages: true and read_evidence with the page name to open the full project page when needed.
Compare its answer with the page and source. If a fact is wrong, correct it explicitly or review the pending claim in the Inbox. You are done when a teammate can read the page and a connected AI can identify the current decision, blocker, and evidence without you retelling the story.
