Reviewing what Jackdaw captures

Jackdaw follows one review rule: We save what you tell us. We ask about what we figure out. Direct, non-conflicting facts can land immediately. Inferred claims, identity details, and conflicts wait for a person with the right authority.

The inbox

The inbox (the bell icon, top right) is where individual facts wait for approval:

• Corrections that would replace something already established
• Facts inferred from connected sources or proposed by a connected AI (Claude.ai, Claude Code, ChatGPT)
• Identity details such as a name, role, employer, or location
• Conflicts — when something new disagrees with what you'd written, shown as a "you wrote X → this says Y" comparison

Each item is Approve or Reject. Approve and it joins the workspace’s current state; reject and it is logged, so the same suggestion does not keep coming back. For a full walkthrough, see Keep your context accurate.

A direct fact can land immediately when it does not concern identity or conflict with something already established. If Jackdaw has nowhere appropriate to file it, the fact is held and shown as Kept, with nowhere to file rather than silently discarded or presented as saved.

The Confirm screen

When Jackdaw extracts people and interests from your connected sources, they wait on a separate Confirm screen (linked from the inbox) before they become part of your graph. There you:

• Promote the people and interests that matter, and skip the noise.
• Settle relationships — Jackdaw might guess that someone is your partner or a family member; you confirm it, correct it, or mark "not family."

This keeps the people in your graph to the ones you actually care about, with the right relationships attached.
